About the role#
Winland Foods is seeking an Accounting Intern to join our team in Green Bay, Wisconsin, for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid internship offers hands-on experience in corporate accounting and finance. You will work directly with our finance team to support month-end processes, analyze financial results, and contribute to special projects. This role includes formal orientation, feedback sessions, and opportunities to present to our Chief Financial Officer and Finance Leadership Team.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the completion of the company month-end closing process.
- Prepare financial reports and conduct analysis of financial results.
- Support ongoing process improvements within the finance department.
- Participate in and contribute to special projects.
- Gain exposure to manufacturing and distribution operations.
What you'll need#
- Current progress of 2 to 3 years toward a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
- A minimum overall and major GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Demonstrated interest in accounting, finance, and operations through coursework or previous internship experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management.

- Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin.
- Work Modality: This is a hybrid position. The schedule requires in-office attendance Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
