About the role#
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is hiring a Project Engineer Intern for our Water and Wastewater division. This position is based in our Jacksonville, Florida office. You will support our project team with the planning and completion of construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager with daily project tasks.
- Review project plans and confer with management.
- Evaluate bids submitted by contractors.
- Enforce safety procedures to maintain a clean and secure working environment.
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks as needed.
- Support the team to ensure project goals are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Jacksonville, Florida.
