About the role#
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is hiring a Field Engineer Intern to work at our Tampa, Florida office. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position with a rolling term. We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
What you'll do#
You will help the Project Engineer and Project Manager with the planning, organization, and completion of construction projects. Your daily tasks include reviewing project plans, conferring with management, and checking bids from contractors. You will also handle data entry and assist the project team with various daily duties. A key part of your role involves maintaining a safe and clean working environment by enforcing site procedures, rules, and regulations.

We are looking for candidates who can assist with project planning and are comfortable working in a construction environment.
