About the role#
Foxconn Industrial Internet USA is hiring Engineering Interns for the Summer 2027 program in Houston, Texas. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will work alongside engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to projects that support process improvement and digital transformation.
What you'll do#
- Support initiatives focused on operational efficiency and process improvement.
- Analyze manufacturing data to find opportunities for optimization.
- Help with process standardization and documentation tasks.
- Contribute to automation and digital transformation projects.
- Work with cross-functional teams to solve engineering and manufacturing challenges.
- Present your project findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program for Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Strong skills in communication, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfort working in a manufacturing environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Preference for rising Juniors or Seniors.

- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Work Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
