About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity for Mechanical Engineering students. Interns work under the supervision of a mentor to gain practical experience within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role requires on-site attendance in Houston, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned projects under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Assist with day-to-day tasks and observe departmental operations.
- Participate in company safety and environmental programs.
- Document your work and activities in an intern journal.
- Prepare and deliver a presentation to the management team at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least the second year of a college degree program.
- Current enrollment as a Mechanical Engineering major.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Physical requirements include the ability to walk, stand, and navigate operating units. You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection. Occasional travel may be necessary.
