About the role#
As a Project Engineering intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the nuclear power industry. You will work at our Cranberry facility and report to the Digital and AI Product Strategy Manager. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for the AP300 and AP1000 projects.
- Assist with digitization projects, including AI enablement.
- Compile technical design information and prepare reports for the project engineering team.
- Coordinate with multiple engineering groups to ensure engineering commitments are met.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss technical challenges and solutions.
- Prepare engineering deliverables across several technical disciplines.
- Create presentations and documentation for construction partners and customers.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, nuclear, chemical, industrial, electrical, or civil engineering.
- Completed at least your sophomore year of college.
- An interest in project engineering across broad technical disciplines.
- Interest or experience in construction.

- Location: Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
