About the role#
As a Reactor Vessel Internals intern, you will join a team focused on the development of technical products and systems. You will report to the Reactor Vessel Internals Components Design Manager at our Cranberry facility. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and analysis of mechanical systems and components.
- Prepare technical documentation such as design specifications, reports, and calculation notes.
- Author and verify non-conformance reports for ongoing projects.
- Communicate technical information through presentations and written reports for customers and management.
- Research new technologies and manufacturing processes.
- Solve technical engineering problems.
- Work with the manufacturing team to improve processes and design assembly fixtures.
- Participate in design reviews and present your analysis results to the team.
- Assist the department with lab testing, clerical tasks, and other technical work.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- You have completed your sophomore year of college.

- This position is based in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
- The role follows a hybrid work schedule.
- The internship runs from May through August 2027.
