About the role#
As a Product Engineer Intern, you will join the APX Design Automation & Configuration team. You will report to the Software Development Manager. This is a full-time paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the selection, development, and maintenance of the WNEXUS Software Suite tools.
- Work with your team to intake new functional requirements and understand architectural possibilities.
- Support daily WNEXUS software deployment tasks, including discussions with internal and external customers regarding new features.
- Learn the WECAF framework to support efficient data connections across applications.
- Help maintain the product backlog for core WNEXUS Suite applications.
- Assist in driving standardization within the product management process by developing training materials.
- Plan, schedule, and execute your assignments independently.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- You have completed your sophomore year of college.
- You can troubleshoot software issues from a user perspective.
- You are a self-starter who can work independently.

- This role is located on-site in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
- The internship runs from May through August 2027.
- The hourly rate for this position is estimated between $25.40 and $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
