About the role#
The IT Intern program is a ten-week paid experience running from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. You will work alongside industry leaders on projects that provide hands-on experience in the insurance sector. The program includes classroom and on-the-job training, a formal mentor program, and weekly sessions with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Gather and analyze technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Develop digital solutions and improve user experience on digital channels.
- Build, code, and automate applications within a software or systems engineering team.
- Design and implement systems for network, storage, and cloud environments.
- Participate in team meetings and offer suggestions for process improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Undergraduate or Masters degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Technical aptitude and digital literacy.
- Leadership experience through work, community service, athletics, or clubs is preferred.

- Locations: Berkeley Heights, New Jersey or Chicago, Illinois.
- Modality: Hybrid, with an onsite requirement of 4 days per week.
- Employment: Full-time summer internship.
