Imaging Intern

About the role#

The Imaging Intern performs radiographic procedures under the direction of a Certified Radiographer. This role requires independent judgment and initiative to maintain quality examinations while following the regulations of the Joint Review Commission. This is a part-time, on-site position.

What you'll do#

• Transfer and position patients, providing immobilization devices as needed.
• Select appropriate technical factors based on individual patient needs.
• Operate radiographic equipment to produce quality images.
• Perform other related duties as identified.
• Support organizational standards for professionalism, ethics, and patient information privacy.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student in an accredited radiologic technology certificate program.
• Satisfactory completion of all clinical competency requirements throughout the program.

Location & details#

• Location: York, Pennsylvania.
• Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per pay period). Shifts include every other weekend (8-hour shifts) and one 4-hour weekday shift per rotation. Hours rotate between 8:00a-4:30p, 11:00a-7:30p, and 3:00p-11:30p.
