Pharmacy Intern - Acute Care Pharmacy - Chambersburg Hospital - PRN - Day/Evening/Night

About the role#

This is a PRN Pharmacy Intern position at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. You will perform professional functions associated with the practice of pharmacy in an acute care setting, contributing to the effective operation of the department while adhering to safety, quality, and infection control standards.

What you'll do#

• Procure and distribute medication orders based on requests from physicians, pharmacists, or prearranged assignments.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of medications and supplies in accordance with established policies.
• Assist with drug information, drug therapy monitoring, and medication use reviews.
• Support department operations by fostering teamwork and practicing fiscal responsibility.

What you'll need#

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current enrollment as a student at an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Location: Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: PRN, 8-hour shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
