About the role#
Weave is building a platform to help engineering teams understand and improve their work. As a Product Engineer Intern, you will join our founding team to ship features that impact our users directly. You will have ownership over your projects and work closely with our founders on real engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Talk to customers to understand their pain points.
- Design and prototype solutions to product problems.
- Write frontend or backend code for new features.
- Fix bugs, whether through a quick hack or a permanent fix.
- Collect and synthesize customer feedback after shipping your work.
What you'll need#
- You are a fast learner who gets things done.
- You write decent code and want to improve.
- You are empathetic and think about how your work makes life better for other engineers.
- You communicate clearly in writing and in team discussions.
- You care about the mission of improving how engineering teams work.
- Familiarity with React, TypeScript, Go, or Python is preferred.
- Prior experience or interest in developer tools, productivity software, or engineering metrics is a plus.
- Passable design sensibilities are helpful.

- This role is based in San Francisco, California.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- We are looking for students in their junior year or above.
- We do not offer visa sponsorship.
