About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in San Francisco. You will join the team to support our growth and international expansion efforts, focusing on research in London and Tokyo. This role is hybrid.
What you'll do#
- Design, program, and launch surveys to potential users in London and Tokyo to understand travel behaviors and preferences.
- Analyze survey data and public datasets to find key market segments and growth opportunities.
- Support quantitative analysis of user feedback from early engagement programs or market simulations.
- Conduct comparative analyses of data across international markets to inform localization strategies.
- Synthesize and visualize findings into reports and presentations for cross-functional partners.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate program (Master's or PhD) in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong understanding of quantitative research methods, statistical analysis, and survey design.
- Proficiency in R, Python, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis of user-level observational data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- We prefer candidates with an interest in international markets, cultural differences, and global product localization.

- Pay: $70 per hour for Master's students and $85 per hour for PhD students.
