About the role#
The CNN & TNT Sports Inclusion team works to ensure that content across all screens reflects the diversity of our audience. This internship offers the opportunity to support recruitment, marketing, and editorial teams by integrating inclusion initiatives into the core of the business. You will gain experience in project management, interdepartmental collaboration, and people development.
What you'll do#
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.
- Synthesize and present data related to internal and external initiatives.
- Organize employee participation and programming assets for journalism conventions.
- Partner with internal communications to draft and distribute monthly newsletters for mentorship and development programs.
- Present company and industry news during weekly team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program as a rising Junior or Senior.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Demonstrated passion for diversity, innovation, and the entertainment industry.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with tools like Canva, HootSuite, or AirTable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, collaborative, and self-starter approach to problem-solving.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Term: Fall 2026 (October 12th to December 18th).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: 16 to 24 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
