About the role#
As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will support the team in delivering patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Receive and stock supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Ensure all documentation, records, and patient information remain confidential according to company policies and legal guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- A commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
