About the role#
As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will support our team in delivering patient care, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the safe delivery of pharmacy products. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders.
- Deliver patient care by assessing individual needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Manage inventory and keep the pharmacy area organized.
- Receive and stock supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Protect the confidentiality of records and information in line with Company policies and government guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and best practices.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and your pharmacy team.
- A commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach and events.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
