About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern to join our team in Tyler, Texas. This is a part-time, paid position for students currently enrolled in pharmacy school. You will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting while supporting our team in delivering health and wellness services.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing individual needs and helping patients navigate clinical therapies.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information, documentation, and records according to HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Receive and stock pharmacy merchandise and supplies from distribution centers.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and keep the workspace organized.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and pharmacy staff.
- Capability to cater to the specific needs of individual patients.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach, events, and activities.
