About the role#
As a Digital IT intern, you will work within a multi-functional team to support various information systems projects. You will solve real-life problems related to your field of study while building relationships across different functions and plants. We provide organized social and networking opportunities throughout the summer to help you connect with other interns and associates.
What you'll do#
Your work will span several areas, including product innovation, supply chain, and enterprise architecture. You will:
- Analyze product development workflows and clean historical product data.
- Build predictive models and recommendation systems.
- Analyze production data to find bottlenecks, quality issues, or predictive maintenance needs.
- Apply machine learning to improve demand forecasting and inventory management.
- Support data governance and ethical AI use.
- Analyze customer data to identify segments for marketing campaigns.
- Build models to predict sales trends and support strategic planning.
- Develop AI-driven tools for customer service and internal sales support.
- Analyze employee engagement and recruitment data.
- Detect anomalies in financial transactions or automate reporting.
- Assist IT teams in integrating AI tools and defining data pipelines for scalable solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S., M.S., or MBA program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business/Management Information Systems, AI, or Data Science/Analytics.
- Completion of at least your junior year of college before the internship starts.
- Plans to continue your degree in the fall.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week internship.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a self-starter mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to learn, work independently, and drive projects to completion.
- Enthusiasm for digital capabilities in manufacturing and supply chain.
Location & details#
- Locations: Elkton, Maryland; Flagstaff, Arizona; or Phoenix, Arizona.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: $23 - $27 per hour.
- Note: A housing allowance is available for those who need to relocate.
