About the role#
As a UX Design Fellow, you will support the customer experience throughout the product development process. Your work will span from initial concept ideation to usability testing. This fellowship lasts between six and twelve months and is based at our campus in Belmont, California.
What you'll do#
- Create concepts from scratch that solve specific human problems or needs.
- Align your individual goals with broader team objectives and the ICC mission.
- Drive work at the ICC to integrate UX best practices into project roadmaps.
- Transfer actionable improvements for the customer experience to relevant teams within the Volkswagen Group.
- Secure intellectual property and help develop roadmaps with an automotive focus.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least a rising Senior in a Baccalaureate program, or currently pursuing an MS or PhD.
- If you have already finished your degree, you must be within six months of your graduation date.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
- We welcome students from majors including Human Resources, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, and Computer Science.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site role in Belmont, California.
- The fellowship operates on a rolling basis.
