About the role#
We are looking for a design student to join our team for the Fall 2026 semester. This internship provides an inside look at the retail apparel industry and requires a commitment to working on-site at our Stamford office. Please note that this is an unpaid internship for academic credit, and you must provide the necessary documentation from your school to participate.
What you'll do#
- Support the design team throughout the design process.
- Maintain the trim library and organize samples.
- Sketch and update CADs in Illustrator following meetings and fittings.
- Keep fabric, CAD, trim, and artwork binders updated and organized.
- File paperwork and manage the physical organization of the office space.
- Listen to team members and complete ad hoc tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a design program.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- A strong interest in women’s and girls’ apparel or print and pattern design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to handle confidential company materials with care.
- Flexibility to receive and act on feedback.
- A genuine interest in the vineyard vines brand.

- Location: Stamford, Connecticut.
- Term: Fall 2026, up to 15 weeks.
- Schedule: On-site, up to 20 hours per week.
