About the role#
External Relations is looking for a student to help share the Vincennes University story. This internship offers hands-on experience in public relations, social media, photography, and multimedia reporting. You will work directly with the Director of Public Relations, News and Social Media to build your skills and professional network.
What you'll do#
- Capture video and photographs for various projects.
- Edit visual content and prepare it for publication.
- Conduct on-camera interviews.
- Write press releases and other stories.
- Brainstorm ideas for future content and projects.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud Pro, specifically Premiere.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and pay close attention to detail.
- A self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in a professional setting.
- Majors in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Media Studies are preferred.
