About the role#
As a Student Ambassador, you act as the primary link between VetEvolve and the veterinary student community. You will help students navigate the transition from school to their first professional position by sharing information about our network, externship programs, and career opportunities. This is a remote role that requires active engagement with your peers, professors, and university personnel.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and run campus events, including virtual meetings and in-person outreach.
- Brainstorm event ideas with your VetEvolve contact person.
- Manage event logistics, such as catering and timely registration for job fairs.
- Promote our externship program and share job opportunities on school social media and job boards.
- Reach out to at least 75% of your graduating class to share information about our network.
- Participate in monthly check-in calls with your company partner.
- Assist with monthly social media marketing efforts.
- Build your knowledge of our hospitals, leaders, and staff.
- Serve as a resource for students interested in our opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year university student.
- Good academic standing.
- Active involvement in your student community.
- Willingness to interact with students outside of your own class year.
- You must not be employed as a student ambassador for another veterinary group.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position.
- The role is paid at $750 per semester.
- Travel for externships at VetEvolve hospitals is covered.
- You will have access to a signing bonus and relocation reimbursement if you join a VetEvolve practice after graduation.
- The term is rolling.
