About the role#
The VetEvolve DVM/VMD Externship provides veterinary students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through mentorship from experienced industry professionals. This program allows students to connect with multiple practices within the VetEvolve network, gaining exposure to both clinical and operational aspects of veterinary medicine.
What you'll do#
- Shadow experienced veterinarians to gain clinical insight.
- Engage in both medical and administrative roles within the practice.
- Participate in clinical and operational support tasks.
- Work toward building a meaningful career in the veterinary field.
- Collaborate with team members across different practice locations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (VMD or DVM degree path).
- A passion for veterinary medicine and an interest in veterinary practices.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Eagerness to learn and participate in mentorship.
- Academic background in fields such as Biology, Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
