About the role#
Veterinary Emergency Services (VES) in Verona, Virginia, offers an externship for veterinary students interested in urgent care and emergency medicine. As the primary after-hours care provider in the Shenandoah Valley, the practice focuses on treating critically ill or injured small animals. Externs will work in a collaborative environment with experienced veterinarians and support staff.
What you'll do#
- Assist in providing urgent care and emergency services for small animals.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (VMD or DVM degree path).
