About the role#
VetEvolve offers an externship program for veterinary students at Magruder-Tabb Animal Clinic in Yorktown, Virginia. This paid position provides hands-on experience in a clinic that has served the community since 1989. You will work within a 9,800 square foot facility and have the chance to connect with multiple practices across the VetEvolve network.
What you'll do#
- Participate in comprehensive emergency care.
- Assist the team with routine medical, surgical, and dental services.
- Engage in mentorship opportunities with experienced veterinarians.
- Build your professional skills and confidence through assigned mentors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School in a DVM or VMD degree path.
- A strong desire to build a career in veterinary medicine.
- Interest in both emergency care and routine medical services.
- Ability to adapt to a supportive work environment.
- Eagerness to learn from and connect with experienced veterinarians.
