About the role#
This externship provides veterinary students with the opportunity to gain clinical experience at Philadelphia Animal Hospital. Externs receive mentorship from experienced veterinarians and gain exposure to the operations of a professional veterinary practice.
What you'll do#
- Assist with animal examinations.
- Participate in hands-on veterinary procedures.
- Provide support in client education.
- Collaborate with experienced staff members.
- Engage in mentorship activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (VMD or DVM degree path).
- A strong interest in veterinary medicine.
- A desire to learn from experienced veterinarians.
- A willingness to engage in hands-on training.
- Commitment to client education and care.
