About the role#
Bell County Animal Clinic, part of the VetEvolve network, offers a hands-on externship for veterinary students. This role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience while working alongside an experienced team of four veterinarians in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Externs receive a stipend to assist with housing and travel costs.
What you'll do#
- Provide care for animal patients.
- Participate in various veterinary procedures.
- Engage in mentorship opportunities with experienced veterinarians.
- Connect with multiple practices within the VetEvolve network.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school pursuing a DVM or VMD degree.
- A strong desire for hands-on training and mentorship.
- Interest in fields such as Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, or Public Health.
