About the role#
Eldersburg Veterinary Hospital in Sykesville, Maryland, is seeking a DVM/VMD extern to join our team. Our practice has served the community since 1976 and operates as a modern facility providing comprehensive veterinary services. Externs will work alongside three experienced veterinarians and a dedicated support staff in an environment focused on compassionate care and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Provide veterinary care to companion animals.
- Assist experienced veterinarians during examinations and medical procedures.
- Participate in educational activities with the veterinary team.
- Engage with clients and provide care recommendations.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School in a VMD or DVM degree path.
- A strong interest in veterinary medicine.
