Community Animal Hospital - DVM/VMD Extern

About the role#

Community Animal Hospital, a 5-doctor practice in Easton, Maryland, is seeking a DVM/VMD student for an externship. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, established clinic that has served the local community since 1984. Externs will participate in diverse veterinary experiences and gain exposure to the operations of a busy practice.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to patients.
• Provide a strong commitment to client service and communication.
• Participate in diverse veterinary experiences, including mentorship from multiple veterinarians.
• Engage with the local community.
• Connect with multiple VetEvolve practices.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (VMD or DVM degree path).
• Interest in gaining clinical experience in internal medicine, dermatology, advanced surgery, and exotic medicine.
• A desire to work with a team that is excited to mentor and welcome students.
