About the role#
Community Animal Hospital in Easton, Maryland, is a busy 5-doctor practice serving the local community since 1984. We are looking for a DVM or VMD student to join us for an externship. You will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment with access to in-house lab capabilities, ultrasound, and digital x-ray.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients.
- Maintain a strong commitment to client service and communication.
- Participate in diverse veterinary experiences with mentorship from our team.
- Engage with our local community.
- Connect with multiple VetEvolve practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (DVM or VMD path).
- Interest in internal medicine, dermatology, advanced surgery, and exotic medicine.
- A desire to learn from experienced veterinarians who are excited to host a student.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with a stipend provided to help offset housing and travel costs.
