About the role#
This student worker position assists the accounting department with various clerical tasks and special projects. You will work under the direction of the department leader to support daily operations and help the team meet its goals.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and responding to customer requests.
- Create presentations for company leadership.
- Help identify ways to improve process efficiency and work with other teams.
- Analyze department issues and suggest solutions.
- Assist staff with special projects and reports.
- Follow all regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma and current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- A major in communications, business, or a health related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Less than 1 year of experience with integrated HRIS or payroll systems.
- The ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- A detail-oriented approach to ensure data accuracy.
- The ability to read and interpret department manuals and safety rules.
- Experience with Ceridian or working in a health care setting is preferred.

- This role is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid position with a rolling term.
