About the role#
The Versant Summer Internship program provides students with the opportunity to build foundational skills and gain experience in how a modern media organization operates. You will contribute to meaningful projects and help shape an experience designed to support early career development. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
Interns work across various areas including CNBC Councils, CNBC Events, and CNBC Direct-to-Consumer Marketing. You will contribute to content that helps audiences understand and navigate the world of business. The program includes structured onboarding, professional development opportunities, and networking with teams across the company.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution or a graduation date in Spring 2027.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits), with junior or above preferred.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Strong interest in the media industry, with previous internship or on-campus involvement.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
This position is based on-site at the CNBC headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. The hourly rate for this role is $19.00. On-site perks include a fitness center, a gourmet cafeteria, and dry cleaning services. Free shuttle transportation is available to and from locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Hoboken, and Jersey City.
