About the role#
This internship is a 10-week program running from June to August 2027. You will work on the Kasten by Veeam K10 product, focusing on cloud native backup and disaster recovery. This is a full-time, paid, remote position.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test features for the K10 product.
- Write design documents and lead design reviews with your team.
- Create test plans for new features and present them to the team.
- Build and maintain CI/CD test pipelines.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.
- Interest in working on scalable, multithreaded, and concurrent systems.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and client-server architectures.
- A focus on code quality, testing, automation, and coding standards.
- You are driven by results and impact.
- Experience or interest in Go, public cloud databases, storage systems, containers, and orchestration platforms is a plus.
- Interest in contributing to open source projects.
