About the role#
This position supports the radiology department by assisting with radiographic, sonographic, and nuclear medicine exams. You will work under the direct supervision of registered technologists to provide patient care and support clinical operations. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Richmond, Virginia.
What you'll do#
- Help perform high quality medical imaging exams.
- Provide emotional support and problem solving for patients.
- Direct patients to imaging rooms and initiate transportation requests.
- Maintain inventory by stocking or obtaining supplies as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited School of Radiation Sciences, Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine Program.
- Ability to obtain CPR-BLS certification for continued employment.
- Previous clinical experience in an acute care or trauma setting is preferred.
- One year of clinical experience in an accredited program is preferred.

- Schedule: Shifts may include weekday evenings and weekends. Hours are adjusted based on department needs.
