About the role#
The Utah Jazz is hiring a Photography Intern to support the Jazz Bantam and Lady Notes programs. You will work alongside the youth operations and social media teams to capture high-quality images and video for social media channels. The goal is to document games and tournaments to help grow the program brand. This is a part-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Capture high-quality images and video during games and tournaments.
- Prioritize coverage of scheduled events on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
- Perform quick photo edits to support social media content.
- Assist the team with producing concepts and design-related tasks.
- Work approximately 10 to 20 hours per week.
What you'll need#
- Strong skills in high-caliber, quick photo editing.
- A keen eye for current trends across social media platforms.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- An appreciation for and understanding of sports, particularly basketball.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate ideas in a timely manner.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Media Studies or Graphic Design.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Sandy, Utah.
- You must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
