About the role#
The Digital Engagement Intern supports the University of Wyoming Alumni Association by managing content and digital community engagement. This role focuses on connecting alumni with the university through social media management, visual storytelling, and data analysis. You will report to the Digital Engagement Specialist.
What you'll do#
- Produce high-energy reels, graphics, and posts for social media channels.
- Capture photography and video at university events and across campus.
- Manage social media platforms, including scheduling content and writing captions.
- Analyze performance metrics to track audience engagement.
- Assist in translating data into actionable marketing insights.
- Brainstorm creative concepts for alumni initiatives and monitor digital trends.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing professional social media accounts.
- A portfolio of creative work, such as class projects or personal brand content.
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or mobile video editing applications.
- A valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record compliant with university business requirements.
