About the role#
The Digital Engagement Intern supports the University of Wyoming Alumni Association by creating content and managing digital channels to connect alumni with the university. This role involves visual storytelling, social media management, and data analysis to drive engagement and maintain a consistent online presence.
What you'll do#
- Produce high-energy reels, graphics, and posts for social media channels.
- Capture high-quality photography and video at campus events and throughout the university.
- Brainstorm creative concepts for alumni initiatives.
- Manage social media platforms, including scheduling content and writing captions.
- Interact with the community to drive engagement and support event promotion.
- Analyze performance metrics such as likes, shares, and clicks to track audience resonance.
- Work with the Digital Engagement Specialist to translate data into marketing insights.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student or recent graduation in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing professional social media accounts.
- A portfolio of creative work, such as class projects or personal branding examples.
- Familiarity with design and editing tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or mobile video editing applications.
- A valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record compliant with university business requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage projects independently.
