About the role#
The Keck Center is hiring part-time assistants to support research and administrative tasks. This position is open to current University of Virginia undergraduate students who are eligible for Federal Work-Study. We welcome applications from students in Biology, Computer Science, or Biomedical Engineering. First and second-year students are preferred.
What you'll do#
- Work with cells and tissue imaging using advanced microscopy systems.
- Administer the center website.
- Perform data analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia.
- Eligibility for Federal Work-Study employment during the academic year.
- A resume is required for your application.
- While no prior experience is required and training is provided, a working knowledge of website administration and data analysis is preferred.

- Compensation: $13.00 to $17.00 per hour.
