    About the role#

    This position provides end-user technology support for the University of Cincinnati. You will manage endpoint systems, applications, and daily operations to ensure university equipment functions efficiently. This is a paid, on-site student role.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide support for PC workstations, hardware, and software interfaces.
    • Install and configure operating systems for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices.
    • Assist with Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via in-person, remote, and phone channels.
    • Configure equipment for employee use and troubleshoot network or system errors.
    • Perform hardware and software modifications and configure media components.
    • Manage technological equipment inventory and handle equipment taken out of service.
    • Provide operational support for applications, including testing and patching.
    • Investigate support incidents and provide ad-hoc training for end-users.
    • Participate in long-term projects and ensure adherence to departmental service agreements.

    What you'll need#

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at a post-secondary or secondary institution.
    • At least part-time enrollment status (one or more credit hours).
    • Minimum age of 16.
    • A valid driver's license.
