About the role#
This position supports the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) program within the Department of Utilities. You will gain experience in both office and field settings, assisting with project management, inventory, and operations. This is a part-time, temporary role based in Sacramento, California.
What you'll do#
- Manage inventory and process Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests.
- Perform data validation and administrative tasks.
- Assist the AMI team with daily program operations.
- Balance field work with office-based duties.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a college student taking at least six-semester units or nine-quarter units.
- Experience working outdoors or in physically active roles.
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data sorting.
- Comfort learning new software and technology systems.
- Majors in Business Administration, Operations Management, Public Health, or Supply Chain Management are relevant to this role.
Location & details#
- Location: Sacramento, CA.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible hours between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour.
