About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship designed for students pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Marketing. The role offers hands-on experience in the construction equipment rental industry, with the goal of preparing interns for a potential career as a Sales Associate upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Participate in safety training and ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Support branch operational efficiency in the yard, including equipment check-in and maintenance tasks.
- Shadow inside and outside sales team members to learn customer service processes and sales responsibilities.
- Complete training on business systems including RentalMan and Salesforce.
- Attend departmental and cross-functional meetings, participate in ride-alongs, and join conference calls.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple tasks.
- Prior relevant work experience is preferred.
