About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Government Operation and Strategic Communications organization at United Launch Alliance. You will observe the day-to-day business operations of the aerospace industry and contribute to projects that support our broader goals. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Navigate challenges in government outreach.
- Support experienced business professionals with their daily assignments.
- Shadow actual operations to understand the business side of the aerospace industry.
- Complete unique tasks that support larger projects.
- Participate in events to build your professional network within the company.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed your Junior year of college or university by the start of the internship.
- You are actively pursuing a bachelor or master degree in political science, public policy, or a relevant field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale is required.
- You must be able to work full-time for at least 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- You plan to be enrolled in classes during the Fall 2027 semester.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- You must be a U.S. Person as defined in ITAR 22 CFR 120.62.
- Previous experience with Congress, state, or local government is preferred.
