529 Training-Internship Program Mgr-Officer

About the role#

The 529 Training & Internship Program Manager – Officer is responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive training program for the 529 College Savings Group. This role focuses on developing curriculum for new and existing associates across call center, operational, and field representative roles. Additionally, you will design and manage an internship program of 7–15 individuals, providing them with exposure to client servicing, operations, fund accounting, and department projects.

What you'll do#

• Build and maintain a structured training program for new associates across call center, operational, and field representative roles.
• Develop, design, implement, and manage an intern program of 7–15 individuals, providing exposure to all facets of the department.
• Ensure all training materials remain current, accurate, and aligned with departmental requirements.
• Monitor training effectiveness using feedback, performance indicators, and quality results.
• Partner with leadership to promote engagement, collaboration, and talent growth initiatives.
• Oversee intern interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Ensure all training and intern activities comply with bank policies, laws, and regulations.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor’s degree in education, finance, management, or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of training or learning & development experience in a call center, financial services, or regulated environment.
• Experience designing and delivering structured training programs for call center, operational, and field-based roles.
• Ability to develop curriculum across instructor-led, virtual, and self-guided formats.
• Experience managing internship, early-career, or rotational programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual training tools.
