    About the role#

    This is a full-time, 10 to 12 week summer internship program running from May through August 2027. You will work alongside project managers to gain hands-on experience in construction activities. The scope of work ranges from supporting one large project to managing several smaller ones. You will be paid for your work and have opportunities to network with company leadership.

    What you'll do#

    • Prepare technical documentation including reports, RFI’s, and submittals.
    • Coordinate project tasks, schedules, and resource allocation.
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and verify installations.
    • Ensure all work meets design specifications.
    • Identify and troubleshoot engineering issues during design and implementation.
    • Collaborate with electrical engineers, designers, and project managers.
    • Document substitution requests and record project meeting minutes.
    • Assist project managers in building and maintaining client relationships.
    • Prepare and maintain productivity reports.
    • Participate in training sessions and workshops.

    What you'll need#

    • A bachelor’s degree in construction management, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience with HVAC, piping, and plumbing in commercial, industrial, or institutional settings.
    • Knowledge of construction engineering processes, technology, and standards.
    • A collaborative spirit and team orientation.
    • Self-motivation to drive results.
    • Strong communication skills and basic business acumen.
    • The ability to proactively identify problems and propose solutions.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Physical demands: You may need to walk on uneven surfaces, climb ladders, bend, and kneel. The role also requires standard office tasks like using a computer and telephone. Travel to temporary assignments or relocation may be required based on project needs.
