About the role#
This is a full-time, 12-week summer internship program running from May through August 2027. You will gain practical experience in service operations, project coordination, account management, and customer service within the mechanical construction industry. Throughout the program, you will work alongside internal teams, participate in project kick-offs, and attend company-sponsored events like job walks.
What you'll do#
- Learn the service side of mechanical, TAB, HVAC, controls, and plumbing contracting.
- Assist operations managers, project managers, sales account managers, and estimators with daily tasks.
- Coordinate with field leadership and support teams to schedule and complete service requests.
- Maintain records of service activities and customer interactions.
- Gain hands-on experience in project set-ups, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Work on project proposals, scope reviews, and progress tracking.
- Support the development of new maintenance contracts and identify business opportunities.
- Monitor project progress to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
- Nurture long-term relationships with existing clients.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in engineering, business, or construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivation and a genuine interest in the mechanical service industry.

- Pay: $18 to $23 per hour.
