Sales Strategy & Planning Year-Round Intern

About the role#

The Sales Strategy & Planning Year-Round Intern supports the CS&E team at the Tyson Foods corporate office in Springdale, Arkansas. This role provides exposure to sales, business units, innovation, and supply chain functions while assisting with daily business operations and strategy execution.

What you'll do#

• Support the CS&E team with sales activation activities and the execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Maintain internal reports using Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, and other internal systems.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, product samples, and product cuttings.
• Support the broader CS&E team with project needs and ad hoc requests.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or MBA student with at least one year of school remaining.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Agriculture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, and basic computer skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.

Location & details#

• Location: On-site at the Springdale, Arkansas World Headquarters. Candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius of this facility.
• Schedule: This is a year-round position requiring full-time hours (40 hours per week) during the summer and part-time hours (20 hours per week) during the school year.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
