About the role#
Twelve is looking for a creative Social Media Intern to manage and grow our brand presence. You will focus on creating content, scheduling posts, and tracking performance to increase brand awareness. This is a full-time, paid internship based in our Brooklyn office for the Summer 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Develop and manage content calendars across our social media platforms.
- Create and curate content including text, images, videos, stories, and reels.
- Schedule and publish posts on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X.
- Monitor channels for trends, comments, and messages while engaging with our community.
- Track social media performance and prepare monthly reports with insights.
- Collaborate with leadership, design, and account teams on various campaigns.
- Assist with influencer outreach and partnerships.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Media Studies, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- A strong understanding of major social media platforms and current trends.
- Experience with scheduling and analytics tools like Hootsuite, Later, or Sprout Social.
- Basic graphic design skills using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Preferred skills include video editing, photography, short-form video creation, and knowledge of SEO.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Brooklyn, New York.
- The position is on-site and full-time, up to 40 hours per week.
- Compensation is $22 per hour.
