About the role#
The Facility Engineer Intern position at TSMC Arizona offers an opportunity to contribute to the operation and validation of critical infrastructure within an advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility. Interns work alongside engineering and construction teams to support system performance, maintenance documentation, and special projects. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Support the operation, validation, and startup of electrical, HVAC, and water treatment systems.
- Monitor key construction activities and collaborate with teams to oversee structural integrity.
- Assist in developing operations and maintenance documentation.
- Contribute to special projects within your assigned engineering scope.
- Troubleshoot commissioning challenges and resolve field issues to ensure project execution.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for the duration of the summer 2027 term.
- A self-motivated approach to learning and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and design is considered a strong asset.
