About the role#
This summer internship provides on-the-job training and work experience within the Community Lending department. You will support the mortgage team by completing special projects, assisting with documentation, and participating in networking and training events. The program aims to prepare you for a career in the financial services industry.
What you'll do#
- Complete special projects while working alongside department managers.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, ordering supplies, and answering phones.
- Help Community Lending Specialists request and review loan documentation.
- Guide applicants through the documentation process to keep loan requests on track.
- Coordinate marketing strategies and assist with homebuyer and financial literacy workshops.
- Attend training classes and informative bank events.
- Participate in community service projects.
- Present an overview of your projects and provide feedback on the program at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Junior, Senior, or MBA student status.
- Major in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and perform basic math or accounting functions.
- Experience demonstrating a strong work ethic and leadership through academics or campus involvement.
- Ability to work in a team and follow direction.

- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 to July 30, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
