MRI Student in Training

About the role#

As an MRI Student in Training at Bethesda North Hospital, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting patient care and department operations. You will work under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of department management to assist with workflow, equipment maintenance, and patient needs.

What you'll do#

• Provide direct patient care, including patient observation, transport, and assistance with personal needs.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate the flow of patients throughout the department with technologists.
• Perform daily and monthly quality control procedures on equipment to ensure reliable performance.
• Comply with infection prevention procedures, safety standards, and all compliance protocols.
• Monitor patients for status changes, call for assistance when necessary, and notify management of any issues.
• Demonstrate flexibility by accepting additional assignments and assisting team members as needed.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an approved program for a field of study in Allied Health.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of radiation safety.
• Up to 1 year of relevant experience.

• Location: Bethesda North Hospital, 10500 Montgomery Road, Montgomery, OH.
• Schedule: PRN/Optional with varying shifts.
• Compensation: Paid position with shift differentials available based on hours and organizational guidelines.
