Promotions Intern

About the role#

The Promotions Intern supports the department by assisting with daily operations and completing special projects designed to provide a well-rounded perspective of the industry. This role requires a flexible schedule, as duties include weekend and evening shifts, as well as potential travel to off-site events.

What you'll do#

• Support the department with day-to-day tasks and special projects.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of on-site and off-site events.
• Manage projects efficiently and provide consistent support to the team.
• Interact professionally with guests, coworkers, and management.
• Handle cash and obtain a bank as needed.
• Travel to off-site events using company or personal vehicles.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a 2 or 4-year post-secondary program in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous guest service experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work efficiently.
• Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive hand motions.

• Location: Welch, Minnesota.
• Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Full-time, rolling term, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Environment: Work occurs throughout the property, including indoor and outdoor areas with flashing lights, loud noises, and cigarette smoke.
