About the role#
This is a 12-week summer internship for students pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree. You will work on-site in Fort Smith, Arkansas, as part of our engineering team. This program provides professional exposure, leadership training, and networking with senior leaders. Participants may have the opportunity to interview for our full-time Accelerated Development Program or other direct hire roles upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Support product development initiatives.
- Conduct failure analysis to identify technical solutions.
- Perform value engineering to improve efficiency.
- Execute design tasks and verification testing.
- Collaborate with team members to complete complex projects.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Engineering Physics.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- At least one prior internship or work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through campus organizations, sports, or work projects.
- Aptitude for working independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to dive deep into technical concepts to deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Willingness to be mobile and relocate anywhere in the United States.
- U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
